Motion & Adaptation Science Laboratory at KITE UHN
Undergraduate Research Trainee | May 2025 – Aug. 2025
My work was centered on exploring the precision timing required for effective neuromodulation and neuroplasticity. I took responsibility for the full execution of complex experimental protocols, including data collection by doing four Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) protocols across 16 sessions on healthy volunteers. I used MATLAB for data processing and visualization of motor-evoked potentials. This process delivered robust and quantifiable insights that were essential contributions, directly integrating key data into a journal-ready manuscript on corticospinal excitability.
BRIDGE Lab at KITE UHN
Undergraduate Research Trainee | June 2024 – Jan. 2025
I collaborated with three members to execute a comprehensive systematic review where I meticulously synthesizing data from 32 peer-reviewed studies to identify and analyze sex differences in sleep EEG markers. This dedicated effort successfully led to my achieving publication success, resulting in a co-authored academic paper published in a peer-reviewed journal. Furthermore, I championed public health awareness by extending the research's impact beyond the lab, assisting in the development of a professionally distributed infographic focused on promoting sleep health awareness among students for the 2025 World Sleep Day campaign.
