Foodies Run Club
Est 05.2025
Situation
Most public run clubs in Toronto catered to experienced runners, often starting at 5K distances where most participants were training for races. This environment felt intimidating for beginner runners and those seeking a more casual, social experience.
Task
Create an inclusive, beginner-friendly run club that emphasized community, connection, and fun. Particularly through a shared love of running and food.
Approach
Creating the space
I founded a run club to create a space for any athlete at any level would feel comfortable, creating a welcoming community for people to move their body. The brand focused on short-distance runs with visits to local food spots to make the experience approachable and rewarding.
Content and Partnership
I led the branding by designing the logo and visual identity, and managed our social media strategy to grow community engagement. I also initiated partnerships with local food businesses to support small establishments and spotlight them through our content.
